Riverston Viewpoint, situated in the Knuckles Mountain Range near Matale, Sri Lanka, is a captivating destination renowned for its panoramic vistas, diverse biodiversity, and serene ambiance. Panoramic Views: From the summit, visitors are treated to sweeping views of the Knuckles Mountain Range, including peaks such as Gombaniya, Tunhisgala, and the iconic Five Knuckles. Mini World’s End: A short trek from the main viewpoint leads to this dramatic escarpment, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding valleys and hills. It’s a popular spot for photography and nature observation.
Trail Details: The hike to Riverston Viewpoint is approximately 5 km long and is considered moderate in difficulty. The trail meanders through montane forests, grasslands, and occasionally mist-covered paths, providing a diverse trekking experience.
